In this section there are three videos produced in connection with
the O2K Open to Knowledge project; they respectively constitute a
reference case study, one of the outcomes of the project and a summary
of the concluding conference:
“Bring us your arms” was produced by
two artists, Andy Abbott and Yvonne Carmichael, who attended the Unidee
residence at Cittadellarte-Fondazione Pistoletto from July to October
2006. The video presents a description of the process of economic
development which involved two cities, Leeds and Bradford, following
the economic crisis due to the collapse of the textile sector. Using
interviews with local stakeholders, the two artists bring out the
antithetic characteristics of the two cities and of the lines of strategy
adopted.
“Finchè la barchetta va” ("Until
the boat goes"), is a success story from the O2K project.
The intention behind its production was to get the instruments of
creativity adopted in the public service. It is, in fact, a video
produced by the Associazione Verso l'Agio by involving the public
servants who wrote the script.
“Aprire alla conoscenza. Generare sviluppo”
("Opening out to knowledge. Generating development")
is a summary of the conference of that name organised at Cittadellarte
on 22 June 2007. It is made up of three videos which can be watched
separately and which sum up the three sections of the conference:
